A concept for a flexible template design system for PowerPoint and Word that, when combined with design toolkits, could help designers and AI create greater variety with quality and ease.
THE CONCEPT
The concept brings together content, grids, layouts, and design toolkits to create a flexible system for template design.
FLEXIBLE GRIDS
We created a library of grids for different document sizes, providing a flexible foundation for organizing content, establishing hierarchy, and creating layouts.
FLEXIBLE CONTENT
Each template category, whether a resume or presentation, would have a defined set of content options to support different customer needs. Content would be designed as components that can be easily added or removed.
ONE LAYOUT, MANY TEMPLATE DESIGNS
A single layout blueprint can be transformed into many template designs by applying different color palettes, font pairings, and other visual treatments, creating greater variety without creating every design from scratch.
